P O T H U P D A T E S
UPDATE: December 10, 2005-My best friend, Jimmy Davenport died on Tuesday December 6, 2005. Every time one of our friends, acquaintances, or family members died, he would tell me he wanted someone to stand up at his funeral and say just one thing. Well Otis, I didn't think it was appropriate to do that at your very dignified (that was also very important to him) service, so I've included it here.

UPDATE: December 6, 2006-Since last year, two more members of the Atlanta Gang, Lee Durham and Billy Lemmons, have died. Lee's requested that I speak at his funeral. I couldn't make it, but recorded this: Lee Durham Tribute
UPDATE: February1, 2006 - My longtime friend Mike Clark lost his battle with cancer today. He was one of the good ones. I'll miss you chopper!

News of the death or illness of people who are special to me happens all to frequently in my life's autumn. I am truly thankful for the friendships that have lasted, my health, and my wonderful family.
